Privacy Policy

The only way to submit personal information through this website is the project enquiry form. When you use it we receive:

• your name, and your company name if you give one
• your email address, your phone number, or both — we ask for at least one so we can reply
• the project type you select, and a preferred date if you choose one
• the project details you write in your own words

We do not ask for, and have no use for, payment details, identity documents, or any other sensitive category of personal data. Please do not include them in the details field.

To stop automated abuse of the enquiry form, we store a one-way cryptographic hash of the IP address that each submission came from. It is a keyed HMAC-SHA256 digest, not the address itself, and it is never displayed in our admin or returned by any API.

It exists only to count recent submissions from the same connection, and it is erased within 24 hours of the enquiry being received. We do not use it to build a profile of you or to identify you across other sites.

Cookies and analytics. We set no cookies of our own for visitors and run no advertising trackers. We count page visits with our hosting provider’s privacy-focused analytics, which sets no cookies. It records the page you viewed, the site that referred you, your browser, operating system, and device type, and your country. It tells visits apart using a hash of the request that is discarded within a day, and it is not used to identify you or to follow you across other sites. Staff who sign in to our content management system receive a session cookie, which is strictly necessary for that sign-in and is not set for anyone else.

The map on our contact page. Our contact page embeds a map from Google Maps. When that page loads, your browser contacts Google directly, and Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy. This is the only third-party content on the site, and it loads on that page only. The address is printed beneath the map, and the “Get directions” button is an ordinary link you choose to follow, so you can avoid Google entirely by staying off that page.

We process your enquiry because you asked us to — you filled in the form in order to get a response, and we use it to prepare that response and any quotation that follows. Where the law requires a stated lawful basis, ours is your request to take steps before entering a contract, together with our legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse.

We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we will not add you to a marketing list on the strength of an enquiry.

Your enquiry is stored in our content management system and emailed to our own team inbox. Reaching those two places involves a small number of service providers who process the data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:

• our website and application hosting provider
• our managed database provider, where enquiry records are stored
• our transactional email provider, which delivers the notification to our team

These providers operate outside Cambodia, so your enquiry is transmitted and stored internationally. Beyond them, we disclose enquiries only where we are legally required to.

The hashed IP address is erased within 24 hours. The enquiry itself is kept while it is commercially useful — an enquiry may become a quotation, and a quotation may become a project with records we need to retain.

We remove enquiries that did not lead anywhere during periodic review, and we will delete yours sooner on request.

Write to hello@vipdecor.com.kh and you can ask us to send you a copy of the enquiry we hold for you, correct anything wrong in it, or delete it entirely. Tell us the name and email address you used so we can find the right record.

We will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first — we would rather fix it — and you retain any right you have to complain to a data protection authority in your country.

If we change what we collect or who processes it, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Enquiries already sent to us stay governed by the version in force when you sent them.
